Second Annual Cheesemaking Contest with Farm Tour and Wine & Cheese Sampling

June 4, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

$10.00

Join The Art of Cheese for our second annual Home-Cheesemaking Contest, along with Wine & Cheese Sampling, Baby Goats and more (you don’t have to enter cheese to join in the fun)!

Enter your homemade cheeses for a chance to win prizes and recognition – judges will be Jessica Beer and Julie Snarr, both from Cured in Boulder.

This year’s contest will be held at Stonebridge Farm – Boulder County’s oldest CSA now growing and making wine from their own farmstead grapes!

Your ticket price will include cheese tastings (homemade cheeses as well as many delicious varieties from Haystack Mountain Cheese), wine tastings from Stonebridge Farm’s own winery (Chickenhouse Red and Cottonwood White, blended with cold-hardy wines farm-crafted on the Lyons redstone soils right there at the farm), tours of the farm and visiting with baby goats from nearby Briar Gate Farm.

You’ll also have the opportunity to buy bottles of wine from Stonebridge and cheeses from Haystack (15% of the cheese sales will be donated to local 4-H club Goats & Galore).
